Share the cash, then share the congratulations

You can pat your people on the back and congratulate them all you want, but if you are not taking care of their need for cash, these praisings won't ring true.

    I have quite a few engrs in Chennai , that i want to retain ...every form of encouragement , motivation , putting their shortcomings under the carpet, just does not seem to help.

    The fact that i'm out here in the states and don't have face to face interaction doesn't help either.

    I know the issue is purely financial , but no amount of convincing to upper management seems to help. It is sad to see organizations these days treat employees as commodities that can be bought and sold , instead of considering them solid pillars.
